On the occasion of the exhibition Joana Vasconcelos. Flowers of My Desire at the Ascona Museum, this special literary session features the award- winning novelist and multidisciplinary artist Afonso Cruz. Renowned for his visionary novels that weave reality with fantasy, history with myth – and deeply rooted in Portuguese culture – Cruz invites the audience to discover Portugal through his poetic and philosophical narrative voice, blending words, images, and emotions to reflect the country’s soul.
The event is conducted in Portuguese with simultaneous translation into Italian.
