Luoghi d’arte nel Locarnese is an informal associa­tion of museums, foundations and exhibition spaces dedicated to modern and contemporary art in the Locarno region. A network created to highlight the richness of the area’s cultural offering and foster collaboration among its diverse institutions.

For the past three years, every autumn, the region’s art venues have come together for a weekend dedi­cated to art. The Locarno e Valli Art Weekend opens each venue to the public with a programme of events and activities specially conceived for the occasion, in dialogue with current exhibitions and the artists represented.

An opportunity to discover, along a single itinerary, the variety of venues, collections and projects that animate the Locarno art scene.
